What skid plates for warrior
#1
I recently got a warrior and the stock swing arm guide looks a little weak. What is the best one to buy without losing any ground clearance?
Also do you think I need and engine skid plate as well? If so any suggestions will be appreciated. I was hoping not to spend too much on this as I just purchased several things for it.

if you want to ever worry about skid plates engine should be the first thing you worry about. If i was you go to a metal shop and tell them what you need. They will make them out of whatever metal you want and thickness and will charge a lot less for better things imo.. Then the bolt you could go to a local sears or true value and pick them up.. Either way you will loose like a 1/4 inch clearence but you wouldent notice anyways.. If you feel you havce the money and would like to go factory DG and PRm make good all around plates a bumpers

I got a moose rear skid plate on my bike. I does just fine. Ive hit several rocks on the trails with it. I also run twenty inch hole shots on the rear. I don't have any ground clearance but I got front end lifting power.

I wouldnt put any swingarm skid plate on that is less than .250 thick. I had a .190 thick on the swingarm and wound up bending my rotor = $115. The .250 thick last so much longer and I have never had to replace a rotor after that. Armadillo makes a nice one.
