I was recently talking to my friend about my 450... I said that i was going to get a new pipe for it, possibly a White Brothers or FMF. He asked me if we took the stock insert out, and we did. He said if we put an aftermarket pipe it'd be to loud for were we ride (98db I think). But my real question is... Is an aftermarket pipe really worth it? Is spending the money for a pipe going to offer a huge difference? Even if the stock pipe is already uncorked?

I dont know about the 450 but I just recently put a yoshi full system on with k+n filter and dynojetkit with billet adapter and it is a very noticable difference.I would have to think the 450 would rally scream with the extra horsepower.It would breath much better.

 

pipes are easily one of the most sufficient modifications for ur bike... they really wake it up for a fairly low price... i say its easily worth it no questions asked... id say get a sparks, gytr, or hmf for the 450... they seem to be the top choices...

 

yea on the yfz get a pipe huge power difference like ZBlaster said sparks and gytr are great pipes for the 450 so is the ducan fatboy

 

Just installed a Alba system on a YFZ today...definetly improved the power and sound.
