with this new raptor, whats going to happen to the banshee? the raptor is about $500 more than a banshee, plus you get electric start, reverse, faster, better handling........will they put electric start and reverse on the banshee and maybe make a model thats low geared(i doubt it, it would be slow) for 2002? LETS HOPE SO!

Why the heck would anyone need electric start on a Banshee??? I can start mine with my arms. If I put a high compression head on it I might need to kick a little harder than just stepping down on the kick lever. As for reverse that might be good for ladies but I wouldn't want it.

I agree. Why mess with success. The Raptor may be faster than a STOCK Banshee, but how many stock Banshees are there out there? They have been purposely detuned by Yamaha to avoid litigation. For a little more than $1,000 you can have a machine that will rip your arms off. Let's see a Raptor or DinoSaur(DS)650 for that matter, do that.
