What kind of liquid? Is it air filter oil? If so, they put way to much on it.

Yes there is a lid. I just got it back from the dealer today and they put the pro flow filter in it and there is about one inch of liquid i think filter cleaner stuff on the bottom of the air box. Should i drain it?

DO NOT DRAIN THE LIQUID! fill your airbox with water and let the carburetors absorb the oxygen from the water (kinda like a fish) you should get at least a 30% power gain but you will have to change the water because the engine will deplete all the oxygen from it and your engine will run rich and start fouling plugs.
