Default Wolverine Exhaust

Looking for some input... I want to upgrade my 04' wolverine exhaust. Looking for added horsepower and reduced sound. After reading your posts and doing some research, looks like the white brothers e-series, ids2, and dmc alien are the best ones. I wasnt sure if the dmc alien is quiet though. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

Those exhaust systems you mentioned may be quiet by after market standards, but will probably be louder than stock. There are some aftermarket stealth systems out there for hunters but will not give any added power. I think Moose handles them.

Thats a bummer...cause I would be using it for hunting 2 weeks out of the year, otherwise sound wouldnt be an issue.

Get a Supertrapp or the Alba spark arrestor model.
They both use the 4" Supertrapp disc system.
Use lots of discs for power 50 weeks a year and remove most of them for noise reduction for hunting season.

you can always get a really sweet pipe and then put the stock setup on it for hunting it doesnt take long to switch them

Just get one with discs, that way you can make it whatever sound level you want.

I love the FMF megamax that i have on my wolverine and it has a quiet core plus discs that are supposed to lower noise when you need it to be quiet. I run mine with all 11 disks and its not too loud unles you get on the throttle if you putt putt it aint too bad

Thanks for the input fellas....think ill go with the supertrapp ids2, looks simple to install, has discs..etc..If I'm mistaken..please let me know, otherwise I'll press on. Ohhh...one other thing. I was going to get the 424 select. Seems like a pretty good setup, but was just curious if anyone has ever encountered any problems with it. I'm a little bit leary of screwing with things that were built for one purpose. Kind of like the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" theory if you know what I mean. Thanks again gents..

Have had my 424 for about a year with out a problem. Not really hard to install either. Breaking my front differential bolts was the toughest part for me, those suckers were on there!
