Default Raptor Exaust

Need some exaust ideas. I wanna buy an exaust w/o paying and arm and a leg, but I want the ability to make it loud & make it quiet with an insert or something maybe? Anyway if you know what I am talking about shoot me some advice.

There are some spots I can go as loud as I want and others I need to keep it quiet

Many manufacturers make quiet core inserts for their pipes. Others use diffuser discs as a way of tuning and noise dampening. Do a few searches. If there's one subject that been run into the ground around here, its exhausts.

Default Raptor Exaust

Carbon Fiber GYTR Exhaust, Yamaha just got there Dyno Sheet up on there site!...I dont say this just to back it because i have one, I had the CF Yoshimura Full Comp System, however this past winter, while sitting in my garage, a mouse decided to make a home in my muffler, and chew the **** out of my CF, pull out all the packing, and i can only say wut a frickin mess!!! I eneded up doin an insurance claim, and got this thing like new. I went with the GYTR instead, i find it way better, performance and looks...its the Beauty and the Beast of Exhaust systems for the raptor. I know this because Yamaha unlike some companys have countless hours into Testing, Dynoing, and they above all have the technology to create a good pipe for the Raptor.

Other companys just have someone else create a pipe that just "Fits" the raptor, and they just have there name Stamped on it.....I could almost swear that HMF, Graydon...blah blah blah companys like this do that, and they dyno it, and show gains only for the fact that the Stock Raptor Exhaust is soo frickin restrictive....just opening it up some and jetting it, makes the world of a difference....

Hope this helps,
