if any of u have a yfz 450 i was wondering has ur parking brake broke already cuz mine pretty much has, i think it might be just yamaha cuz my blaster did the same thing

 

all parking breaks are junk.

 

yep, mine broke on my 400ex the week after I got it. Ironically though, the one on my 84 200x still works pretty well

 

ive had honda, yamaha, suzuki and all the parking brakes suck

 

Its a adjustment. Mine went out within 2 weeks. Took it to the shop and they fiadjusted it. They said you have to adjust this brake often. They showed me how. Easy and fast. That was almost 4 moths ago and I haven't adjusted it yet!

 

All sport quads parking brakes suck. Mine quit working on both my 450r and 300ex shortly after i got them, and my banshee's wont work, but thats not surprising since its 7 years old. I need a block off.

 

A DS650 parking brake works great. It just uses a locking type deal on the front brake lever..sometimes the old saying "KISS" works the best--"Keep It Simple Stupid"

 

most just need to be readjusted after cable stretches out due to use

 

It's simple to adjust but why would you want to? just take the darn thing off and ride till the cows come home.
