There is no ride like a 2-stroke! I agree to an extent that we should all just try to get along like some of you thumper riders have said but you guys cause a lot of the rivalry (at least at my riding areas). I can't tell you how many people on YFZ's and 450R's try me when I go for a ride. Don't get me wrong I love racing but every now and then I would just like to go on a casual trail ride but I can't because I got some guy on a YFZ trying to get me to race. I'm not one to back down so I usually do.............then he rides away with his tail between his legs!

 

Desention among the troops. Ya gota love it. So you say you can get it done in 2 strokes what it takes us 4 strokes to do. And you're proud of this? I say, "let the 2-stroke rest in peace". I hope they don't waste another dollar on R & D for 2-strokes. Lets advance the sport not try to revive old bones.

 

If everyone thought like you during the end of the muscle car era, we would all be driving dohc 4 bangers instead of restoring the american pushrod v8's. I'll take the indy car whine of my two stroke and the roar of the american v8 over the lazy sounding single cylinder thumper and an annoying civic with the coffee can muffler.
