2005 Grizzly Upgrade
#1
Who has the inside scoop on the next big utility quad from Yamaha? I am sort of disapointed that there are not many changes to the current grizzly. I was hoping for bigger cc's, more cylinders, and EFI. Any rumors out there, or should I buy the Brute Force 750???
Come on Yamaha, I am loyal, but I am tired of waiting for a bigger, badder Grizzly.

Its getting kind of out of hand anymore that they are jacking out new quads each year. Not new models or updates throughout, but changing up the flagship models a lot. Like P650, 700, then pop out the 750. I think Yamaha will at least give the 660 another year. Kind of tough to top yourself every couple years.
Right now after thinking about it, the Brute Force is basically my 660 with a bigger motor. Still has all the same features, only it would outrun mine. Mine's pretty fast as it stands, so I think I'll just stick with it. But I'm not really one to trade up every 2 years or so anyway.
I like how they gave the Kodiaks IRS this year though. Real good idea, though they should still keep a straight axle quad in the bigger cc range though. Big Bear is the biggest yamaha has now. They should also offer a manual transmission in one of the bigger quads too. Keep all the bases covered. But Arctic Cat and Suzuki are the only ones that manage to do that.
