Finally, a thread worth an AMEN!!

 

hail to the 4 stroke!!!!!!!!! j/k, ive never rode a 2 stroke quad b4 but my friend has a banshee with about 15,000 into it and it is relatively stock, hes rebuilt the thing like 5-6 times now. his quad is an 89 and so is mine, ive never rebuilt mine, but he has 5-6 times now, that would be the only downfall i would think......im not saying that it doesnt rip my warrior right apart but man, i spent like 2000 on mine now and wow, im pretty happy with it......................

yeah please ride one. It is a must once in your life. Look at it this way there is a reason that we are such a tight group. Look at banshee owners there is no group that loves there quads and takes more pride as a whole then them. There is a reason. You may or may not like it but you should try it once.

Thanks for the support.. I just think Atv and fun in general will stay alive a lot longer if we stay close toghether as we do on the forums no one can change The fun you get from quading

I'm only 14 and the 2 stroke united grup thing is childish.. Come on guys most of you are grown men....

 

this tells me that either your friend has no idea how to mix gas or he cant jet a 2 stroke right or maybe he puts 50,000 miles a year on it. they are finikey and need proper jetting but with the right jets and a little up keep (clean air filter and tranny oil) they will last a long long time.

I dont think that its childish to want to preserve our riding areas and make sure the environmentalists dont kick us out of the sport altogether. I dont think that thread was meant as an anti-4-stroke union, its just a group of 2-stroke lovers that want to make sure they dont take our bikes away (literally or metaphorically). If it was intended as anti-4-stroke I dont want to be a part of it, i do like a number of four strokes and most likely whatever bike i get next will be one. If the 4-stroke people want to back us up in our fight against anti-atvers and anti-2-stroke environmentalists than you are of course welcome to do so and your efforts are appreciated. As for us banding together in an all atv group, no matter what style, 4x4, sport, 2-stroke or 4, that is an idea i dont think anyone here will oppose, and i would be proud to be in such a group.
