I just got a 2000 Banshee and i noticed that the tires are pretty lame. I do alot of woods ridin and i ride flats and strip cuts. In the near future i am gonna ride on a motocross track but i'm not gonna race. What do you guys think the best tires are.
Thanks

My friend just put razr 6 ply rear tires and front grooved radial tires on the front. If you ride alot of trails and hard pack these tires are great. i wouldnt have a bike without them.

I would agree with THEEXOTIC1. RAZR's or ITP Holeshots are a must. I too discovered the lame stock tires and what is feels like be in 6th gear and still doing 15 mph ; )I have Holeshot XTC 6 Ply and out here in the rocky NV desert they have shown to hold up real well... Either way you will be happy.

stay away from the older holeshots they tend to be slow leakers . They leak at the beads. I had 3 sets mounted on new 190 rims and they all slowly leaked. I then put tubes in the tires no more leaks...

If you like drag racing any I would recommend Titan Trail claws they hook better than any tire I have used so far. They are also pretty good in the woods to but they do have a tendancy to wear out a little quicker than Razr or Holeshots.

I have been running pure sport bandit cavalar tires front and rear for over a year now and they have worked great in mud, trails as for MX track I do not know, But I think they would work out good.. They also wear well..
