Default a-arm/axle question

i'm now thinking about doing some work to my raptor instead of trading it for a yfz. im thinking a arms, axle, and shocks is what i'm going to get. i dont get to the dunes very much mostly ride at gorman, ca which has some trails and whatnot so i was thinking just a +1 a arms and +2 axle, what do you think? will i feel a difference especially if i add some good shocks, elka maybe?

New shocks will make a huge difference. A arms and rear axle will make the handling better and more predictable. Sounds like a good setup.

As far as what you get, It really depends on budget. If you are going to be doing a lot of trail riding and maybe getting wet or muddy then I would stay away from heim jointed a arms. As for the rear axle, go with a lonestar, durablue x33, or rpm dominator. Lonestar is the cheapest and weakest, durablue is the lightest and in the middle, rpm is the toughest but heaviest. All of these would be fine for trail riding though.

Shocks start at 350 for works and go to infinity. If you are going to be doing mostly trail riding I would suggests elka or tcs shocks with zps (lowers the atv). Resiviours wont be needed unless you plan on a little mx time or you have very choppy trails.
