Sorry man but you are wrong. Your parents own the business you work for, so they are helping you out in a way. I am not saying that you don't work for your money, I am just saying that without your parents you wouldn't have so much bling!
Jealous, yes I am. My father left my mother 3000 acres in Montana when he died that was supposed to be mine. She sold it to buy my stepdad a semi in the 80's

I still collect money from the natural gas, but it would have paid my way if I owned the land still.

my family owns a Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Chevrolet, Polaris, Yamaha Store
So, this has nothing to do with your money? It is still family, and family can open doors for you that other wise would not be open!

Scary, theres nothing wrong with working for family. In actuality, I work TWICE as hard because I'm related to the boss for two reasons.
One- Everyone one you work with thinks you have everything handed to you, so I work that much harder just to prove that I pull my OWN weight...
Two- When you work for family, its not just a paycheck. Its your family's way of life your supporting. If you don't do your job the way it SHOULD be done, your not just hurting a million dollar grossing company. Your personally hurting your parents/uncles/inlaws, etc way of life.
I work for my father-inlaw, so I work for family as well. Personally I think(if you have a concious, and you sound like you do Scary) its harder to work for family, because so much more is expected out of you. And if you screw something up, you have to see that person and accept responsibility face to face everyday. Not just 9-5, monday through friday, but any time you see them. So for the ones that are jealous, tell them where they can put they're jealous little insecure comments Scary, because you don't need........ Yeah, you seem like you maybe alittle frivilous with your money, but who isn't at 20 years old? We all buy things that we don't really need, don't we guys.......?
Do you do your job to the best of your ability? If so, thats all that matters, and the opinions of others don't mean jack!

the only "door that was opened because of family" was the one that was opened when I started washing cars and toilets up here 8 years ago.........I have worked my way up from there.......
I get NO special treatment up here........
