Do the raptor headlights do a good job lighting stuff up? Also I have heard of some bulbs one can get that is made of rare gasses that will make a very effective bright light, anyone tried these?

 

I have the Blue Xenon lights I got off ebay awhile back and they work great!!.

 

I am sure the Raptor lights do not do as good as some aftermarket, but mine do just fine. I can see where i am going anyways!

 

I didnt like them so I sold them....got some HIDs and some regular halogens...look at my pics [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

The raptor headlights are garbage. no matter what you put in them they will not perform. the reflector clips the beam and prevents light from going up. this type of design is good for the road to prevent oncoming cars from being blinded but when you are off road, you need light going up and down to compensate for the quad going up and down over rough terrian.
if you are stuck on the stock lights, at least change the bulbs to a decent halagen lamp.

I have the trail tech stock replacement Torch Lights...they are 100 watts of lighting...INSANELY BRIGHT!!! I love them and they are a 110% Improvement over stock...PLUS they look badass...i have different color covers for them so when im riding i use the clear covers, but u can use the amber covers for a fog light effect and the is blue, and red..ect... Anyway they are great.

120 dollars at RM, Alba or just from TrailTech themselves.
