Anybody know the capacity of the fuel tank and reserve capacity of the wolverine.

Has anybody gotten a good milage count per gallon or tank for there quad?

 

Tank capacity is 3.4 gallons, I think the reserve is .6 or .4 gal. On a stock quad, or mildly modded, pipe and filter, mileage is great, I have done an 80 mile loop and still not gone on reserve, have never let it get that low, so I can't give you a max miles per tank figure. Also, the type of driving makes a difference, trail riding is maximum mileage, if you hill climb and rev it out constantly, that will knock it back a bit.

 

At last check, my milage was approx. 25 mi/gal. My buddies 2003 (almost stock except for K&N and airbox lid mod) was @ 21. The riding was very aggressive trail (high rpm's) and some wide open routes.

I guess it just goes to show that a properly tuned big bore can still get better mileage than a smaller bore stocker. lol.

He has a built 435.

Start with a 145 and go from there. Stock is a 141 I think?? Correct me if Im wrong.
