We will all be dead or too old to care before Banshees become a rare quad. They have made so many and you can build one totally out of aftermarket parts, It will be years! They quit making 250rs like 16yrs ago and look how long they stuck around. Look how many 3 wheelers are still around!!! I wouldn't plan on selling your mint condition 2001 banshee for big bucks just yet

Sadly, that is true. It doesn't matter if yamaha quits making them though, because you can make a banshee entirely out aftermarket parts.

I believe that would be the tranny. Nobody makes a replacement tranny yet, but I have heard rumors that some companies are considering it. Also, who says you wont be able to get stock parts instead of just aftermarket? I dont know how good yamaha is about it, but most companies keep making parts for every bike they make years after the bike may be discontinued. I can still get parts from honda for our 1971 trail 70.
