Default blaster or 250ex?

im 5'4 and weigh about 115lbs. the only experience ive had on quads was on my friends kingquad 300 and neighbors timberwolf. i have a yz 125 so i can use a manual clutch and reverse isnt really a big deal. i ride mostly in fields around my house. since riding a yz 125 will these feel really slow? im leaning more towards the blaster, what do u think?

depends what u want. 250ex will be ticking forever u can do whatever u want to them and they will not give up. blaster is a 2 stroke whcih isnt bad just more maitnence. if u want the fastest with lots of upgrades go blaster. if u want to be running forever and wanta fun little trail quad 250ex is urs.

Thanks, i think i might go with the blaster, since ive had more experience with 2 strokes. 1 more thing, would a stock blaster beat a stock mojave in a drag? idk how many ft to be exact but im gonna say about 700ft.

Stock blasters can beat 300ex's in drags, but I believe the ex has a couple mph on the blaster for top speed and if given a long enough run will pull ahead.

Remember 101, blaster's are 2 stroke, that makes a BIG difference. 250ex's have 12-13 hp, blasters have 17-18, and 300ex's are in the area of 18. The blaster's powerband will deliver the stronger hit to pull it ahead in acceleration. Modded I've seen blasters easily beat 400ex's in a 300ft.

Most likely the blaster will feel a little slow compared to the yz, but nowhere near how bad the 250 would be. And yes they can beat mohaves.

If you know how to maintain your yz, there shouldnt be a problem with the blaster.

sounds like the blaster would be good for you,,,,,especially if you already have a 2 stroke

blaster is a great sportbike for a rider of your size

Yes that is right a Blaster accelerates a lot quicker than a 300ex but the top speed is around the same so a Blaster will take a 300ex in a drag race
