I mean cmon, from what i can tell the only difference even w/ the 05 is colors/ chromed frame.

And it isnt even really limited?!?! Anyone can get the "LE"

Please correct me if I am wrong...but isn't it just a way of getting a Couple hundred $$$$ for another color option.

I agree. Whats the freakin point when you could take that extra money and add some very important mods. Oh well, I guess it's the whole personal preference thing.

I feel half insulted that that the YFZ got such a trick new LE plastic while the raptor got a couple of strips of camo. What is that?!!

I think the regular scheme's will be repeated or re-used at sometime or another and the LE models will be a one year, one time only deal.

 

At the time I bought mine I had no other choice but to get the LE, all the regular 2002's in the area were gone.
Now that I have it I'm kind of glad it worked out that way. I didn't really like the all black at first but it's held up well and looks great with the graphics. The frame is powder coated gloss black which looks good and holds up much better then the silver painted frames. And I like the carbon look of the grill.
I'm real annal about keeping my quad looking and running good so it was worth the extra dollars to me.

 

Same here. I liked the black. But I especially wanted the black powder coated frame to keep from getting a rusted look.

I have an LE, all Black, Red Flames and wouldnt want anyother color scheme. I took all the decals off except fo the flames on the gas tank, it looks sweet. Everytime I roll into an area it turns heads.

YAMAHA BRING BACK THE FLAMES!!!
