I have 11.5 hours on my new Grizz and I can't get the front end off the ground even when I put my knees in the seat. (insert joke here) I have a big red, so I like to wheelie. This is disappointing. Does the break in make that much difference? It sort of spudders when I try to wheelie. I have even let it roll down a hill backwards with my knees in the seat and when I punch the throttle, it sputters. WHAT's THE Deal???!!!

 

I don't know you level of riding so BE CAREFULL DOING THIS!!!! I don't know on the griz but I can wheelie a Kodiak like this. Hold the front break and then hold the gas until you get the rear tire spinning some. Then drop your weight back on the seat at the same time let off the break... The front SHOULD come up really fast, so be ready to try to balance it and have your foot ready to hit the back break to bring the front back down if it comes up to fast and to far.

Just BE CAREFULL... The Griz isn't light and it would suck to have one laying on top of you!

I will give that a shot. I am supposed to do this on pavement right? I don't know why I am so obsessed with putting the front in the air. Maybe cause that's the only thing that I haven't been able to do with the Grizz. Thanks man, I will send a progress report after tomorrow.

 

I do it on dirt with the Kodiak, but I would think that Black top would work. Like I said just keep in mind that the front will come up QUICK like this. LOL

The first few times I done it I darn near ended up sitting on my rear!

 

Put it in low and the front end will come right up. I can bring it up on black top without pulling in low. Also, I like your thoughts on Kerry.

 

My Grizz wheeleies on black top no problem, But in dirt it just spins. They aren't made for doing wheelies so I quit, But not until !! Until I got going about a half a block and gave it a little to much juice and stood it on the back rack TWICE !! My wife was pi$$ed at me !! Luckily it didn't even scratch it an I was able to get it back down,But it scared the bajesus outa me. Not to mention the embarassment of the neighbors watching me attempt to wreck a brand new wheeler.

the reason jour griz cant wheelie is cuz it aint got no power. now if jou were on a prarie 650 or 700 jou could wheelie with ease

 

and what exactly do you ride big man?

 

i ride a blaster but ive rode my brothers 650 prarie and my cousins grizzly both had an 2 in llift and 27 589 the prarie gots way more power.
