I heard that the 01 raptor had 45hp and people were dieing on them so they tuned it down to 35-38hp is that true? and if so well how fast did the 01 go if the 02-05 hits about 72-75? and if i buy a used 01 raptor in perfect conditon andthe tranny is blown cant i just throw in an 04/05 tranny for about $1000?????

NO, they have had around 35 hp for ever. BUt the different trannys were geared different I think. They had a lil better top speed
