Default help with my wolverine

i have a 2003 wolverine. a week ago after riding on trails thru the woods it started backfiring when i let off the throttle. now it wont idle with the choke off. if you pull the choke out just a little it will backfire thru the front of the carb and start and idle but if you push the choke in it will die. checked air filter its clean. anyone have any ideas i can try?

check your plug and then i would pull apart your carb and chem dip it or something it sounds like you have something pluged up and becuase it isnt letting as much gas in if you dont have the choke on it lets too much air in and then it would probably back fire to get rid of the gas and air stuff. hope it helps

Default help with my wolverine

More than likely the boot between the carb and head is cracked, the clamps are broken or loose. Worth looking at!!

Default help with my wolverine

I cleaned the spark plug, drained the carb and the boot on the front of the carb had come off seems to be running all right now. Thanks for the help.
