I'm going to rebuild my crank I was wondering what other companys besides carillo make rods that are worth a squat. I thought that around 200 for a carillo was kind of steep. does anyone know where to find one cheaper I don't mind going with a different brand as long as its a proven rod to use. but anyway can anyone help me. thanks

Carillo isn't the best choice any more, give Bob Craycraft a call. I don't know if you'll get anything less than $200 but I do know you can get a better rod. For less than $500, you can have a Ti rod!!:-)
