It would depend upon your mechanical abilities. If you have plenty of experience with engine work, you shouldn't have any trouble. The hardest part is getting the springs off the valves. This requires some specialty tools which can be made if you are a fair machinist. Otherwise you will need to purchase them.
Don't know if that answered your question or not.

Well just got done talking to the shop thats working on my bike.. .. i guess what happened is the bolts that go from the bearing to the flywheel they got sheered off (the heads) and when that happened the cam chain broke and he told me that what may have happened is when the cam chain broke the piston could have flown up and hit the valves and bent them.. hes going to do a pressure check and confirm that / also the bolts taht were sheered off the shafts of them are still in the flywheel and hopefully they will be able to extract them.. the bolt heads had droped down into the tranny but he fished them out with a magnet.. my question is.. what CAUSED this to happen? what can i do to prevent this in the future.. if the valves are bent should i mill the head 1mm over around the valves and get those aftermarket 1mm over valves/? how much would that run? thanks for any information
