I am getting a new quad soon and cant decide on either a banshee or 400ex. I want a fast quad so that's were the banshee comes in. i also like the 400ex because of its great handling. Is the banshee really that far behind the 400ex when it comes to handling??? ive ridden the 400ex before and i love the way it rides, but its to slow for me. im used to 250s and 125s (dirtbikes for the all out quad people) so i have about 3900 bucks to spend on a used quad and iv seen both for around there (banshees cheaper though) So what do you guys think i should do??
all replies are greatly appreciated.

I'm currently in the same situation I have a warrior and need something new, so I think I might get a 250R because I love 2 strokes and they handle awesome so that might be an option for yourself. since you are use to motorcycles the 400ex would defianetly seem underpowered so maybe a banshee would be your best bet but that is just my opinion on the matter.

I was in the same situation about a month ago. I didnt know which one i wanted. I went ahead and got a banshee because i love two strokes. I will never regret buying a banshee. It is fast and i can go anywhere a 400ex can.

Get a Banshee the only place where handling is really important(at least for trail riding) is if your goin in long sets of whoops and thats where the beauty of the 400exs suspension comes in. I've never ridden a Banshee but seen a lot of them racing 400ex's but I can't imagine the suspension being that much of a difference but I know that it was a big difference from my Blaster

i was in the same position about 3 months ago
and 2 weeks before i got my banshee i was gonna buy a 400ex but then i thought about it and the banshee is prob the best bet because it is not at all behind the 400ex in handleing and it has more travel and a powerband thats armpulling

If you want that water-eye feeling with a big grin on your face while your sailing into hyper-speed, then the Banshee is your choice. With the release of the Raptor, I can assure you that there will be good prices on new Banshees.

You can't beat the Banshee for pure speed and horsepower. I know I just traded my EX in for a 2001 Banshee!
