i am going to look at a raptor tomarrow, and it is in great shape, plastic looks good the 1st and 2nd gears in the tranny where redone, and it has alot of wear on the rear tires. But the guy that owns it barely rode it and wants a motor bike he says he hates quads. Never had a preoblem, and never had to do any work on it. Its a black and white 2001 Raptor, and he wants $4700 OBO Canadian. Is it a good deal or not to bad. ANd what do you think about the 2001 Raptor tell me whats good and bad so i don't regret buying it. Thank you so much!

 

i believe that was the year that had the most tranny problems though. i am not posotive but it seems like thats what i hear te most about. also make sure the number is still on the frame and that hes got all the paperwork for it. it could be possible that its stolen.

Sounds kinda high to me. 4700 for a 2001? I agree that 2001's had the most problems. That was the first year and there were a lot of bugs to be worked out. I paid only 6500 for my 2005 with a helmet and goggles. It would have to be modded nicely for me to pay 4700. Just my opinion.
