Or maybe we could all quit pouting about some kids posting things we deem a waste of time and just not bother to indulge them by replying to their childish exploitations of demeaning conversation. Are we really that concerned that people are juvenile enough to post some of the things we see on here? Does it not in turn make us childish ourselves to spend so much time and space complaining about such posts?

Really, its not that hard to just ignore the delinquents. Threads like this only feed their compulsions to post immaturely by giving them the attention they are after in the first place. Just my $.02.

Houndog,

Them thar are some mighty big words you all using.

Well put though.

I remember another site where this kid would post something to get everybody in an uproar and the posts would be flying but you know what? The kid only posted once then he would sit back and let everyone else pi$$ and moan about him and I bet he just loved all the attention. When I first joined this site there was another character doing the same thing here and I almost want to say that it was the same person from the way he posted. For the life of me I can not recall his user name but he was from some small town in Arizona on both sites, maybe Henderson.

AlaskaBoy.

Yup and I would probably be on or close to the top of the boot list.

BTW congrats Mitch on the Quad Patrol promotion. keeping the forum safe for young and old.

Yup and to think only 3 summers ago I was like "Summer is my favorite time of year" what a loser I was. Now I count the days till the heat goes away.

Usually when someone starts a thread like this its someone that everyone dislikes. Roost may not have been the most diplomatic guy around, but he did know quite a bit and was helpful in many posts.

I too get sick of the abundance of useless threads. I suggest that there be some kind of newbie section where we can have faq threads and who is faster threads. It would really clean things up in the rest of the forums and give the veterans somewhere to direct the youngsters without having to be mean or starting a flame. Take it into consideration guys. I know this has worked well at some forums, but not all. I think that you need to ignore it, but we should do something to make the problem a little less prevalent.

As for the dollar to join idea, its a good one. But, it has a major flaw. If we (the forums) want to be considered a great source of information, then we need to be accessible. Many members join for only a week or two to research their purchase and never return. While thats not the preferred idea of a member, it does help educate and inform fellow atv riders. And thats really what we are here to do is help others out. We just need a separate section to send the "special" cases.

Ok, off the soap box and onto other things...
