jd4115 - It wont handle as well when the locker is engaged because it will be true 4x4, like a positive traction rear end only applied to the front end. I would like to tell you more about it, but thats all I know, I dont think too many people have them.

The detroit gearless locker is more than just a locker. It allows one wheel to spin faster than the other (the slow one turning the same speed as the rears). This does reduce the steering effort in relation to a true locker, but will increase the steering effort compared to stock.

I have contemplated this mod myself, but can't justify the spendiness of it with the lack of riding I am currently doing. More riding time yields more mods.

Hope this helps.

And sPdDeMoN... don't worry about the 85 horses, I'll just put it in the back of my V6 Tacoma. It'll suffice for now. anyway, 85 horses on a quad like ours just means more tire purchases more often.
