Default New and need help.

Hey everyone,

My name is Mike and I have a whole bunch of questions regaurding the Raptor 660. I am planning on purchasing a sport ATV and I am leaning towards the Raptor because I have found the best deal out of other ones such as the Polaris Preditor. I was just wondering if you guys could tell me about this ATV.

I am 16 200lbs, 6 foot tall. I have ridden ATVs before and I do know how to use a manual tranny on a bike/ATV. Would this quad be good for me. What I am planning on doing is trail riding and going to a local club that has different kinds of tracks, from MotoX to hill climb and so on.

Could you guys tell me the good this and bad this about this quad. Also what would you say about performance, and how does this quad compare to the Preditor, pros and cons, and so on.

If you guys could help me out I would greatly appriciate that.

Thanks,

Mike.

I like The Raptor but I would Take the YFZ 450 or the 450R over the Raptor.

I found a raptor for 4900, a 2004 model, its price is lower than the 450 and the Preditor thats why I was thinking this model, in addition that it seems to be the better one in terms of things it has.

Are there any things that I should consider about this quad before buying. Problems with anything, tranny anything, how it handles, would it be good for a beginner with some experience, who is not afraid to learn how to ride this thing..

For that price it is a steal and i would do it.. the tranny problems were in the 01 models and are now forgotten.. If u get the raptor you will adapt your riding for how the bike feels and handles and you will enjoy it!
