Default Raptor is leaking oil

I just bought a brand new 2004 Raptor 660r. I've had it about a month now. I was cleaning it up and I noticed that it had an oil leak. It seems to be coming from 2 bolts on the head. Is this normal for it to be leaking? My dad and brother also bought a Raptor the same time I did. My Dad's is leaking from the same area but my brothers is not.

Here is a picture (copy and paste the link into your browser and click go to view).

see if those bolts are loose if so tighten them. Im not sure if they have gaskets or orings on them.

Thats a new one for me. Those are where the shafts go that your rocker arms are on. I have never heard of that leaking before, nor have I ever had mine out to see how it seals. But according to the manual each one has an oring on the end of the shaft. It says you'll need a slide hammer to remove them.

i just bought one aswell on july 1st..and today july 25 i finished up riding and noticed the same problem....going to dealership tomarrow for serviceing...

after 3 days of waiting got the call from the dealership today...

they said it is the head cover bolt that was leaking, they installed a copper washer on the bolts and sprayed it with "leak seek"
fixed....free of charge for me but they said its about $150.00 to fix.....

Let the Dealer worry about it. Its new, under warranty and if you mess with it you got it for life!!

By the way, that bike is pretty dirty for just being a month old, dont you wash that thing?????
