Case Gaurd

Default Case Gaurd

I had my chain come off the sproket once and it broke the bottom bolt off the case gaurd hanger.. and bent the case gaurd.. what should i do should i get a new case gaurd but only put the top bolt in? or what/

do you have any welding experience? or take it to a shop, sounds cheap to fix

well i was thinking that it just basically needs to be there.. but i worried myself when i thought about what if i need to take off the front sproket cant do that very well when its welded on there..

a good weld shop can weld new mounts for the guard and you will still be able to take the guard off when needed my raptor case is at the shop right now for this the welder said he could do it on the bike but it would be a pain, I'm already rebuilding the motor so I just took him the case and he said it would be around 50 bucks to do both mounts cause I broke both off .....

sweet yeah i was gonna take my bike around in my truck to welders and see what they can do
im gonna get a new case gaurd first..because id ont want my chain to break and then screw thigns up.. do chains break often.. i have never replaced mine.. how much are theY?

I've never broken a chain but mine sliped off cause I just bought the bike and was seeing what was wrong with it I only paid 3000 for it so I knew I would be reworking the whole bike down to the frame but I couldn't pass on the deal but some of my friends have broken chains but the most common thing we come across is them falling off

yeah mine fell off when i was going over woops.. and yeah it broke my tooth on my sproket and what not..
