I HAVE A 2004 YFZ 450. I KEEP HEARING ABOUT A FREE CAM MOD. WHAT IS IT. DOES ANYONE HAVE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO DO IT. ALSO SOMEBODY TOLD ME I SHOULD ADVANCE MY EXHAUST TIMING. IS THIS TRUE & HOW DO YOU DO IT. ANY INFO WOULD BE A GREAT HELP

 

i think what it is is you retard the exhaust one tooth not advance.

DID IT MAKE A BID DIFFERENCE AFTER YOU DID THE CAM MOD

 

You will loose a little bottom end ,but get it back in the mid and top end. It is good for a 2 or so horse power.
