having fun with a raptor 660
#1
today i moved my home made 300lb deer stand about a mile further into the woods. This was the first time i ever heard my fan motor kick on the new bike. The bike pulled the stand with ease. I know it will be able to pull a deer out of the woods with the greatest of ease also. I thought it would have road a wheelie. Put if you just feather the throttle i didn't have any problems. I was also glad of my bike having reverse due to having to make a path through part of the woods. I would not own a bike without reverse. The 50lb salt blocks are going to be a choir. I think im going put them on a snow sled and just drag them into the woods. Or im going to by a small wagon. I only use atv's for utility a couple months a year. the rest is for play otherwise I would have a ute. I tell you what, the raptors have a good turning radius. That bike suprised me on how well it moved around the trees.

yah last year i used my warrior to drag out my deer and move my stand. i ended up halling the salt blocks on my seat one at a time. the guys i hunt with laughf their @$$ off when i drag out my deers. they always know when i get one. i had a power core 4 on the warrior. i ended up doing a nice wheelie before loading the deer on my trailer for laughfs. There was just my hunting buddies around where i go. i could just see one of them tree huggers watching me drag my deers out,,, they would stroke. im heading back to the woods tomorrow to do some scouting on my quad. ive got to put out another stand before sept.

i had a bunch of my buddies over one day, and we decided to tie a sled to the back of my raptor...i was carrying around 2 people at a time (prolly around 180-200 each), going 50mph in a field...lol they said there was so much roost they couldnt even open there eyes...i was surprised i pulled them around so easily!

That clutch won't last! I pulled 2 loads of scrap wood and, tires out of the woods that we were using as fill for jumps sliding it on a sheet of ply wood. Prolly a total of 500ft with both trips and, my clutch was smoked so bad right after that - the bike was like it was stuck in neutral! Get an automatic 4x4 for that crap! Raptor Clutches are an expensive and, time consuming fix. Even if you do it your self!
