when i shift from second to third its been getting stuck for the past day or two. do i just need an oil change or am i just revving it to high so it wont let me shift? im going to change my oil anyway so what kind of oil do you think i should use i have some synthetic stuff i got a few months ago to change it but just havent yet. should i just use yamalube thanks

 

make sure that your foot isn't pushing up on the shifter.. i had the prob with my boots last winter.. if it isn't in it's resting position it won't shift.. make sure it's not that.. i hate to see ya drop $ for a free fix!

 

thanks i had the same problem when i used mx boots and i didnt know why it wouldnt shift sometimes. i dont think that is my prob. anymore. but it could be. but what oil should i use my blaster is due for a change and deserves it
