I'm ready to buy a plow for my Grizz. I've seen the Warn and Cycle Country (?) plows. Is there a better one out there I haven't mentioned?. I'm definately concerned about being able to plow without worrying about bending the Grizz's frame so the mounting has got to be good. I'd also like to have quick disconnect for the plow too. The spring mounted ones that spring back after hitting a immovable object on the plowing surface is another important item.
Your advice would be appreciated.

I have a plow for my 00 Grizz, I bought it with the quad and have found that it is ok with plowing, I have plowed up to 2.5-3 feet of snow on my 300 foot drive way and all it needs is some chains!

ive been plowing for years with numerous machines yamaha ofcoarse.but i think the best plow is from moose the country plow.its tall and wide. it has a strong mounting system and a quick disconnect i wouldnt buy anything else on the market i feel that strong about the moose plow.

I have a 99 grizzly with a kimpex plow on it. It is the best plow on the market as far as im concerned. I live in minnesota so i plow alot of snow. The kimpex plow is very well built and very easily removed and installed. It cost around 350 installed. The man who installed it owns his own atv shop. He said that he used to sell moose plows and they just dont hold up as good and they are more complicated to mount and dismount.

What ever you get don't get an angled plow, their REALLY hard on wheel bearings, actually, their hard on everything. V-plows are nice, you can really move throught the deep stuff but their expensive.

Hello,
I am not sure a Grizzly can plow snow properly, with the belt drive you have to have alot of speed before it has any power, ops, you hit a concrete ledge, ouch, anyhow seems to me a proper snow plower would be a geared with namual shifting so you know where your at and where your going (read as control).
Good luck
Oh, reason for this note is the Grizzly is about the most guttless of all 4X4 units I have tried nose to nose , heck the little Tera Pro is alot more scrappy than the MIGHTY Griz (Thats a joke)but true.

obviously sprintpusher is mentally handicapped! The Grizzly is with out a doubt the most powerful utility atv on the market. He either doesnt like yamaha or he drove a grizzly that had something severly wrong with it other than the operator. I own a 99 grizzly and it plows an unbelievable amount of snow, you can even push a lot of now in two wheel drive.

SprintPusher is a minor anoyance. He has gone as far as to say that a Honda 300 is more of a challenge then a Grizz in a nose to nose pushoff.
So he is just a little off his rocker (to say the least) I dont know if it is a guilt or envy but for some reason he needs to bash on the Grizz.
