Hey my key ignition and headlight went out on my blaster! When i try to turn on my headlight the front one wont go on but the back one will. I changed my bulb and that didnt help. I read in the hints and tips in blaster central that sometimes if water gets in the switch it can short out and wont work anymore. can this be my problem? Also my key ignition went out a day or two after the headlight stopped working, i can now start it with the key out. I have a feeling its a broken wire somewhere from the handlebars turning. but i just wanted some input from some people before i started messin with it. Thanks for the help

 

somebody has to be able to just give me an idea as to what could be wrong?

 

My friends blaster's key quit also but his problem was a lil different, his lights would work, i would say that either the head lite switch, or the wires in between are damaged along with the key wire, thats what his were.

 

its just some broken wires from turning. Take the nose piece off and checkem out

My headlight went out on my Blaster and it turned out to be a lose connection.Make sure the connectors under the light are secure.One controls the low beam,and the other controls the high beam.

I Dont know how to fix the headlight but to get your quad running with out the key is take off the nose peice and then follow thwe thick rubber wire coming down from it the it splits down to 2 wires un do both of them it will run with out the key.I had to do this when I left my key in FL when I went to Jersey.
