im 14 been ridin for about five years and i am looking at the new yfz 450 from yamaha. every time i ride i notice a sticker that if u r under sixteen that u should ride no more thaan a 90. i also noticed it was the same for motorcycles. witch is stupid because a 90 bike is as fast as a 200 quad. also do u think im to young for a 450. ive got a honda 350 sport quad and never broke a bone the 3 years ive had it. ive started racing and was lookin for a quick quad. i know there dangerous but if your responsible enough i think its fine.

Yea...the people who make the laws have no idea what the hell they are talkin about. A YFZ would be fine for you I'd say. As long as you know how to handle the power.

If you know what you are doing and know how to handle the power you will be fine. I had a raptor when I was 13, and never once felt like it was too much for me. I'm 15 now and my old raptor would have no chance against the banshee I have now. All it takes is some common sense and you will be alright.

Another big reason is liability . if they say your to young and you ride it you cant turn around and ream the manufacture if you get hurt on it .

If your going to get another quad go ahead and get what you want.Theres always a place in the back of most peoples minds that says''damn why dident I get a ...''your going to be 16 pretty soon anyways, so if you have the money go ahead and get it.You shoud know your limets if youve been riding for 5 years.

Just know your limitations and obviously wear the helmet and you will be alright. I have riden a YFZ and im 17 now and its well suited for your age not presicely but it will fit your needs. If you still have doubts take a yfz for a spin then a DS that will make the disition for you.

hehe im 6'2 16 years, anyways IMO kids who ride quads less then 15-16 screw around too much and end up busting up their ride due to stupidity...thats just my opinion but some kids have common sense..
