Raptor Frame Question

Hi, I heard 2001 and 2002-05 raptor subframe are different. Which one are made from round tubing and which one from square one ?

2001 had the square tubing. I think it might have been aluminum too.

Yes its aluminum but its only the Sub Frame under the seat. I just purchased one for my 02 model.

how much lighter is the 2001 compared to the 2002 subframe you had?

I havent weighed it yet but there was someone on here that did the comparison and I think it was a 7 lbs difference.

do a search i posted this before i have done the swap but there is only like 3 pound diff. > I weighed them but dont remember for sure but i did post it.
