Default banshee mods

HI I just bought a 04 limited edition banshee and i have about 1000$ left to put into mods and i m just wondering what mods would increase the top end and horsepower the most also with these mods when putting them on does it make the engine wear quicker? and also how difficult r the mods to put on ?

Toomey T5 or T6 kit (pipes filter, jet kit) about $600. That should give you substantial gains. Save the $400 just in case anything breaks.

Oh they shouldnt be too hard to do.... If you are mechanically inclined... You may want to consider taking it to a dyno shop when you get done and they will tweak it and dyno it for you for around $60 to $150 to get you the best performance out of it possible.

Welcome to the forums.....

Toomey T5s or FMF SSTs or Fattys are prolly the most popular and best performers. If you ride on State Land you will need to get a set of spark arrestors for you new pipes as well. The pipes are built more with a certain kind of riding in mind. From what I have heard.... Fattys seem to be more for trail riding, SSTs and T5s seem to be more for duning. If I have been misinformed I'm sure someone will correct me.

When you put on a set of pipes you are going to have to rejet your carbs and since you are going to have to rejet. You might as well put on a better air filter cuz you will have to rejet again after you do that mod. 2 birds one stone.

Neither of these mods will effect the life of your engine.

Fattys or T5 ( fatty for trails and T5 for open areas)$ 420-480
K&N and clamp on $100
modded timing plate +4 degrees (free) or a key $20
Lightened fly wheel $60
Shaved head $35
15 th sproket $8
Ported stock reed cages and new reeds $80 (or V force 2 $220
New rear tires $110
Jets $7-$20
Flipped rear rims (free)

And $100 to play with

You will have a shee that will smoke any piped bike and most modded bikes out there. The only thing that can beat you is another modded shee, some big bore 4 Strokes(686 Rap), and a few tricked out quads. NOTHING WITH just a pipe will touch you at all ( which is all most people will have) . But in the end anyone with anything but a shee will have to spend way more then you.
