The speedometers are way off though, clock them on a GPS. You will be surprised. They wont do very much more than a Warrior will.

this is what I think heres the deal grizzly 660s r not racing quads they are work quads and design for the people who dont want a big torkey bike in a race a grizzly 660 would probly loose to a z 400 and DEFINITLY would get its @$$ handed to it by a mod banshee

Hey Andy, OT. but I just changed the oil in the Grizz myself at 20 hrs. Is there anything else I can do myself (Other than taking it to the dealer myself) for maintenance? I used yamalube and a yammy filter. What else is there? The air filter looked clean. I am going to replace it with a K&N on payday anyways. Thanks

every One keeps telling me that my prairie is an "exseption" to most others... But I have a dyna CDI on it and I can DESTROY a grizz 660 in 300 ft.. And I HAVE taken and 100% stock shee by 2 linghts in 300ft. we thought it might have been a fluke but we raced it about 15 times with a number of differant ridders on both machines with the same results.. pleas dont bash me for what I said, its the truth. I also ran a yfz that day and got beat by 4 or 5 linghts in 300ft.

a lot of variables on a straight drag with those 2. Mainly because the Stock shee isn't that many lengths behind a stock YFZ in 300 yards. A lot depends on traction. Shee's are pretty fast, and I would like to drag one with my Grizz just to see how bad it would destroy me. But Shee's dont have anything on bottom, so if the drag is short enough, the Prairie could win it.

To the other question- you could do your valves at home. Its a pain to take off the gas tank and all that crap, but not too hard after you get all of it off to adjust the valves.

everybody says that banshee's have no bottom end but as soon as you hit the powerband in any gear you can work the clutch and stay on the powerband the whole time, so what good is bottom end unless the race is like 10ft long or something.
