Getting ready to buy...Banshee vs YFZ?
#12
now this is coming from a honda guy that has owned a banshee and other sport bikes- from these two choices you named - i'd get a yfz if i were you. It handles better and is insane. i dont think you'll be disappointed. (or you can get a 450R.)

I feel that if you are doing track raceing that will be timed then get the 450 if you wanna have fun with the powerband and occasionally race your friends get a shee. I have never rode the YFZ 450 but have rode the 450R ( hear there similar) have raced and beat the YFZ 450 , but the R personally I hated it. It sits high and dosent have near the BallZ my shee does. I just cant live with out the 2 stroke kick. The 450's may be good handleing machines but I got bored real quick. If your crazy and love a rush get the shee if your lazy dont wanna jet and care about turning safer get the 450.

I see you allready had a banshee and you loved it so why give up that smell of the exhaust (mmm klotz)
The yfz is very nive and like italianstalliion said you have to ride it. But if your not MXing or getting huge air (banshee can handle it, not as well) then go with the shee. but hey its your choice and ethier you wont be disspointed with.

Thanks a lot for the honest replies guys.
I've been doing A LOT of reading and talking the last couple of days. Here's what I've come up with.
I think what makes the YFZ shine so much is it's suspension. From what everyone says, it's night and day compared to everything else available today. People are telling me that the Raptor is more of a trial machine than the YFZ. If so, then so be it. I've spent most of my riding career on a Banshee while on trails. The YFZ can't be any harder to ride on trails than a Banshee....true?
I know fully well what the Banshee is capable of. I LOVE two stroke bikes period. But, I'm leaning towards the YFZ right now. If I don't like it I can always by a Banshee to ride too. Then I have two....oh well.

In my point of view the banshee is a rush, the Yfz is even more of a rush, and a raptor is in between. I say this because i own the Yfz and rappy and been around the banshees.
