Thats the least thing you should be worried about when buying an ATV...especially the Shee. Why would you want to know a quads miles per gallon? There isn't anybody out there that even knows anyways(if they do they are takin a wild guess)....because it doesn't matter!

Not quite true on that .. I know what mine is on average .. about 50mpg with easy-moderate trail riding.

In the sand pits .. forget it .. probably down around 5mpg or so then

My easy-moderate trial range is approx 170-180km on 9l of gas ... that works out to be approx. 53mpg ..

Naturally the faster you go and the harder you push the quad .. the worse the fuel economy is. But, like BB said, if you're concerned about fuel mileage, forget the Banshee ...

I don't personally care how much fuel my quad burns as long as I'm having fun and have enough to be able to get home .. I'm just naturally curious about things like fuel economy and such ..

The RD motor in a motorcycle got about 15-30 depending on how you drove it, considering the banshee has shorter gears, is heavier, and usually is driven as bad as possible.....

as a comparison I use the trailtech computer and get a max of about 50 miles per tank (2.7 gallons) or on average about 20 miles per gallon. It does not seem to change much unless I really keep the rpms down and I mean really easy riding.

I check mine since I do 150 mile wood trail riding in MN and WS generally in 4th gear, sometime nicking 3 and also poking 5th. I have to plan rides with fuel within 50 miles to avoid running out.

I've also ran out at Glamis and the MPG was about the same.. 20 miles per gallon with GPS and the Trail tech computer.
