Default Need Help on my Raptor

My firend was riding hes 03 raptor and i was riding my 05 raptor and we were climbing good size hills. My friend in his 03 lost it on the hill and he ended up bailing off to watch hes Rap roll 2-3 times down the hill...we got it back up and it started right up but when you try to give it gas it wants to die and backfire. Almost exactly what it does when you start a cold raptor..we changed spark plugs and its still doing it...Any suggestions ill try anything

You may want to check out the emergency brake lever. From all of that tumbling, it may have bent the lever and there is a rev limiter switch on the perch that prevents you from giving it gas when the e-brake is engaged. Make sure that the switch is getting contact. Hopefully, it's a simple fix like that.

You also might want to see if your carb boots came off or if your jet's came loose....rolling can make alot of different things happen. Just go step by step in your diagnosis and you will find it..... sounds like it's getting TOO much gas and not enough air.....

Sounds like the park brake too me. Check the wiring to see if anything is unplugged behind the rad. A friend rolled his and pulled the wires for the ignition switch out.
