If you are running 39's on your raptor is it on a 686 or 727,730,740,770?

 

I have one on my drz400....not the easiest carb to tune...

which one do you have? coast enrichener? internal or external accelerator pump?

 

686 with 39mm here! Big big gains with them over modded stockers.

 

The other question is, "Who is using the 35mm on a 686, 727,etc....." I would like to know this also.

im just running modded stock i would be running 39's but.. Repairs dont allow for upgrades [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

For the last few years i have been riding around on modded stockers. I am going to put on a pair of 35's in the next few days. I have resisted long enough. I run a stock bore high comp raptor

 

I run 39s on my 730.

I'm curious what you think of the 35s vs modified stockers, especially the top end.

 

I would think that even the 35's would add to the top end... In my experience with fcr carbs...mostly they are a top end carb. Some complain of bog off the bottom...others do not. I was able to get mine dialed in on my dual sport...but it is a different engine all together than the raptor.

I would be curious to hear the outcome as well.

 

if they are tuned properly they won't bog on the bottom.......

 

I will be running 39's on my 740 in a couple weeks when it is finished..........
