Default click click click.... on a warrior?

when i go to start my 98 warrior, all i get is a click click.. click click.... once every time i hit the start button.... this is obviously the starter solenoid but when it went on my EX.... i could at least jump it with a screw driver... by touching the two terminals together on the solenoid.... why cant i do this on my warrior?

Your battery is gone sir. Just happened to mine and I had to buy a replacement. I found a slighlty bigger one at PEP Boys for 40 bucks.

hey it is more than likely neither of those. same exact thing happend to my warrior and it was the starter. i replaced the battery and the starter relay and neither of those fixed the problem but a new starter did. so that is more problay your problem.

Mine did the same thing and it didnt produce spark and it was the Stator pick up coil the cable was loose if you dont have spark you might want to check that out.

The starter and stator are two different things if you want to determine if its working or not unplug the spark plug then connect it to the rubber thing again and put the tip of the plug to your header and try turning it over if you see a blue spark coming out of it its good and you should check somewhere else.

ok, well before you start replacing starters, check the simple things first, it would help alot if you have a Volt/Ohm meter, first make sure you have a good charge on the battery, if you do you allready know your solonoid is clicking and should be makeing contact, but if you don`t have a good charge, charge or replace the battery. now this is where the volt/ohm meter comes in. pull the wire off ur starter and make sure you`r getting power down there
