Look. This is the last time i say this . The zilla is faster. Look a modded shee will beat a zilla but mod the zilla the same and it will win. It's a matter of 350cc Vs 500cc. I'm not knocking the shee yes their a great bike but a zilla is faster. Thats a fact. Believe that or stay in your own world.

Matt, you make many good points. I agree that the rider makes a huge difference on all machines, but especially so when the bike is not a CVT or override, and the races are on rough terrain.
We are noticing a significant increase in participation when it come to drag racing at St. Joe. People are building some serious sand shredders. The 450s, Quadzillas, your 250s, they are all awesome machines. The guy from Northwest Electric (sorry can't remember his name) has run fast enough at BRSD with his 450R to get into Super Pro. Jay's DS was running in Super Pro last Saturday night. More and more banshees are being built and showing up too. I saw a Zilla at BRSD Saturday night, and although I can't verify his times, it is surely one of the fastest Zillas that I have seen.
I didn't take your comment about stock cylinder vs TRex / Cheetah to offense, but I would like to say that I have my Banshee running better now and that last Saturday night at BRSD there was not one stock cylindered bike running faster than my Cheetah. I know that there are some out there that would beat me, but it hasn't happened here YET. None of the other TRex, Cheetah, or Crankers were there and so I was able to set quickest ET beating guys like Kyle Bates and Dillon Huff. Their bikes are extremely fast and I'm not bragging because I know they will come back and beat me. Or set their wheelie bar higher to jump the lights LOL.
I have posted timeslips from Saturday on my gallery page (my number was 70X). These times were with the stock frame, stock suspension, and on race gas so hopefully the best is yet to come.
For anyone that is intested, I will be racing at Big River Sand Drags this Saturday night 8/28/04. Come by and chat, we might even bring the BBQ grill again. We did that last Saturday and it was quite an enjoyable evening. If anyone would like to grudge race, we can do it during time trials (heads up) just let me know. I'm actually hoping that I get the opportunity to try to stay in Blake's roost. I wonder if the wife would shoot me if I bought one of Joe's frames?! Gotta go, hopefully see you guys Saturday night.
