blaster reeds(Again)

i just took my blaster into the repair shop because it wouldnt start at all, and they told me i had a cracked reed. how do i get a cracked reed when its only a year old?? do i get aftermarket reeds? and if i do i would like top end reeds. what r the best on the market? thanks in advance

i ended up getting the G3s....i ordered them last monday so hopefully they come tommorrow(Monday) and hopefully they help my top end...anybody know what i should jet it at??? thanks

You probably got that cracked reed because you sucked somthing in through the intake. Check the air filter and carb boots to make sure it can't suck in any dirt or debris that might crack your new reeds.

Will at 1dir racing would be your best source for info on the G3's.
I would start around a 270 main, needle in the middle and depending where the air screw is you might want to go up on the pilot, and do proper plug checks. But to be certian talk with Will when you place your order.
The tires I have are huge, but I like the ground clearance they provide. They are shredders on douglas .190's 22/8/9 on the front and 22/11/9 on the rear.

I think a 270 might be alil big. i have the mods below and run a 250. 260 would prolly be yr best bet. i ordered my jets from my local dealer for $2 even. so if yr unsure just get the 260 and 270. if anything else u will be able to use the 270 for future mods.
