Here's the deal, a buddy of mine just got a 98 Warrior, someone has already put a slip on DG pipe on it. He says its loud, although I have not heard it yet, and he wants to basically trade me for my stock exhaust and a set of rear axle bearings. Is this a deal, or will I be robbed on power from this DG pipe. From my standpoint, I figure anything is better then stock and I don't mind the noise. Please help me out if you can give me any feedback at all...thanks

 

From what I heard its practiclly no bnetter then the stocker. I wouldn't do it. DG is probably the worse pipe out there. Unless the new pipe they came out with is any good. But, I wouldn't do it. You won't tell any gains.

 

DG pipes are definitly better then the stock pipe but they are not the best. I have one and i'm soon gonna be getting an HMF. I love my DG but i want a pipe that gives more power. It's up to you. I enjoyed mine. Hope this helps>

 

I would trade,i don't know why everyone says the dg is no good.The dg is just as good exhaust as many other aftermarket exhausts and yes it is better than stock,if the dg wasn't that good i don't think one of the top racers Tim Farr would use it.

 

Great replies, the only downfalls I see on the exhaust are the noise, which doesn't really bother me, and it has no spark arrestor, which again really won't affect me. I'm thinking of just doing it since I don't have the money this year for a better one like I really want, then selling it on ebay or something next year to help pay for a better one....thanks for all the replies...

exKiller350monster u do u no the hmf slip-on only adds 2 hp and the slip on is lik i think a lil ova $200 so think about it its $100 for 1 hp im not telling u not to get it but im saying i would becuz its not a wise investment there are better exauhst out there that give better gains for the same price

 

Better pipe? Like what. Over priced junk like a yoshi or white brothers. I'd rather keep my DG then have one of them. DG sounds better and looks better. HMF is the best pipe out there for the warrior right now.

 

how much are u paying for the hmf pipe? and also im not trying to start an argument i was just trying to inform u about something
