1. Honda uses Pushrod ( old school ) engines on there utilites
2. Yamaha's look better ( personal opinion )
3. Yamaha offers a better selection of quads
4. Two Words: Disk Brakes ( again another utility attack )

Buy a brand new Honda and Yamaha that are similar to each other on the same day at the same dealership and treat them exactly the same. The Honda will outlast the Yamaha.
