Default Steering Dampener

I just bought a new Denton Steering Dampener for my 02 Rappy. The directions are HORRIBLE (can barely read the photocopied piece of paper they enclosed). The oil line seems to be in the way. Should it be bent out of the way, should the dampener be installed at an angle, or am I WAY off base?

I would e-mail Dentyon and get them to e-mail you a copy of the directions. I wouldn't go bending anything until you find out the right way to do it.

Yea, I really have no desire to bend anything. I am hoping someone has a better option! I have also been told that the proper installation of the dampener has a direct effect on how long it lasts!!
