Reason for this?

Default Reason for this?

I have an old yamaha 200E threewheeler im trying to restore. I cleaned the carb, got it to start and idle but when you give it gas it dies
will bad oil cause this??

not likely...I would change the oil regardless.

Does it have good compression?..change the plug..make sure the carb is really clean. nice fresh gas.

Oh yeah it has nice compression (enough to jerk the hell out of my arm when pull starting)
I think its low on Oil and thats why its acting up, I havnt had time to really check it
